Palantir Foundry is Palantir's enterprise data platform, designed to integrate information across siloed source systems into a shared, version-controlled ontology and to run operational workflows — logistics, maintenance, production planning, and analytics — on top of that ontology. Foundry was publicly launched in 2016 as the commercial successor to Palantir's earlier work in regulated industries and is now the company's flagship product by revenue.
Inside DoW, Foundry underpins programs such as the Army Vantage data platform, elements of the Air Force's Kessel Run and BESPIN software factories, and Project Maven's computer-vision analytics layer. It also powers HHS, CDC, and allied-nation deployments. Foundry is increasingly paired with Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) to operationalize large language models on top of governed enterprise data.
