Ghost-X is Anduril's second-generation autonomous vertical-takeoff-and-landing uncrewed aircraft, a 210-pound helicopter-class platform that sets up in two minutes, lifts a 20-pound modular payload, and flies for more than 75 minutes on a single battery. It is built around Anduril's Lattice operating system so that a single operator can task Ghost-X alongside other autonomous assets without the specialist crew ratios that legacy UAS require.
Anduril's commercial-speed approach to defense, privately funded iteration, flyoff-driven capability releases, and software-first architecture made Ghost-X one of the first products in a new generation of systems the Pentagon is buying outside traditional prime contracts. The platform has been selected by U.S. Special Operations Command for a program of record and is operational with multiple allied partners.
