Bolt is Anduril's man-packable autonomous quadcopter, and Bolt-M is its armed loitering-munition sibling. Both weigh about ten pounds, set up in under five minutes, and run on the Lattice autonomy stack so a single operator can task them to orbit, search, identify, or strike without step-by-step stick-and-rudder flying. Bolt-M carries an anti-personnel or anti-armor warhead and delivers it on a terminal dive against a target designated by touch on a ruggedized tablet.
The family was selected by the Marine Corps in 2024 under the Organic Precision Fires-Light program, giving small units organic precision strike inside five kilometers without waiting on higher-echelon fires. It embodies the commercial-speed defense thesis Anduril was built around, delivering a deployed capability within months of initial award by pairing in-house hardware with continuously updated autonomy software.
