Dive-LD is Anduril's large autonomous undersea vehicle, a 19-foot, 2,000-pound-class diesel-electric platform that reaches 6,000 meters depth and operates for ten days on a single mission without a support ship. Hulls are 3D-printed to cut cost and cycle time, and the vehicle carries a modular payload bay for ISR sensors, seabed survey equipment, or future munitions.
Dive-LD followed Anduril's acquisition of Dive Technologies in 2022 and extends the company's commercial-speed defense playbook into the undersea domain, where the Navy is urgently scaling uncrewed capacity. The platform has been selected for U.S. and allied experimentation programs and is a direct competitor, at a smaller displacement, to the emerging Orca and future Medium UUV classes.
