The RQ-4 Global Hawk is a high-altitude, long-endurance uncrewed ISR platform capable of flying above 60,000 feet for more than 30 hours. Payloads include Enhanced Integrated Sensor Suite (EISS) electro-optical/infrared sensors and synthetic-aperture radar.
The Navy's MQ-4C Triton maritime variant entered service in the 2020s for over-ocean wide-area surveillance. The Air Force has retired early RQ-4A/Block 20 aircraft but retains Block 30 and Block 40 in service.
